The Naked Truth

“Are the stories in the bible true? Or are they just stories?”

The Naked Truth traces the origins of modern religions back to stories from numerous ancient civilizations.

Due to the lack of science and facts, stories were created by our ancient ancestors in order to provide explanations for the amazing, bizarre, frightening, but natural wonders of the world.

Earthquakes, volcanoes, tornadoes, lightning, hurricanes, and other forces of nature could not be explained such a long time ago, so stories and tales were created by the human imagination to provide answers to these unexplainable natural occurrences.

Today, we know that Egyptian, Roman, Greek, and other mythology originated from man’s imagination to explain the natural world, but are modern religions so different?

Are the similarities between Jesus, Krishna, Buddha, and other saviors and prophets mere coincidences? Or is there a clear and simple explanation that ties all modern religions together?

This is just an amazing documentary on religion, Christian beliefs and how they relate to other religions throughout time.

This program seems to be from the early 1980′s and is very relevant to when I was a teenager of 15 to 16 years old.

When I was 15 years old I was required to go to church every Sunday with my parents. I found it extremely interesting that the adults in the congregation took the religious sermons as the words from an ultimate supreme being.

I found it absolutely comical and just could not believe it.

I was raised as a mix of Anglican and Protestant in the small village of Orleans, Ontario, which is now a bedroom community for the city of Ottawa, Canada.

When I was 13 to 16 years old, the conflicts in the Middle East and Belfast Ireland were going on with people dying every day over differences in religion.

Like the narrators in this documentary it made no sense to me at all.

By 16 I had stopped going to church and stopped believing in Jesus Christ because as far as i was concerned he was personally responsible for killing more people than bringing them together in harmony. At least in the modern age of 1982 to 1986.

The Bible as far as I was concerned was nothing more than a history book of stories from man’s ancient past. Stories that had been passed down for thousands of years before finally being written down.

Stories like the flood of Noah’s Ark, which may have had its roots in the story of Gilgamesh of Mesopotamia. The latest research for the story of Noah’s flood goes back to the flooding of the Black Sea when the barrier between it and the Mediterranean Sea was breached by raising sea levels due to the melting of the glaciers from the last ice age. That by the way is REAL global warming.

Now after watching this show the floods of Noah’s Arc take on a whole new meaning as the floods which occurred yearly on the Nile in Egypt. Very interesting and very plausible.

In 2010 I had a great opportunity to watch just about every documentary there was on Egypt. As I watched these documentaries I became very interested in the fact that the Egyptians were the first people that I was aware of to worship one god. The Sun God. The purpose of this new religion was to get more control and stop having to spend so much tribute to the religious leaders of their old multiple god faith based structure.

So Judaism and Christianity have their first roots back in ancient Egypt.

The “Sun God” becomes the “God of the Sun” becomes “Sun of God” becomes “Son of God”.

It is so easy to see how reorientation of a few words changes religious history from that moment forward for everyone on the planet Earth. It made me laugh when I realized the origins of the “Son of God” coming from “Sun of God” because someone translated “God of the Sun” wrong which had its roots back in “Sun God” the first Egyptian religion to use only one god the “Sun God” as the most important and to stop paying excessive religious fees and tributes to the old religious leaders.

As this documentary goes on it describes the Bible as the “Greatest Story Ever Told” and that the basis of many stories in the Bible are centered around Astrology and the 12 signs of the Zodiac.

This is the first time I have ever heard about this correlation before it makes 100% sense based on the fact that the stars in the heavens in ancient times would have been so important.

The 12 apostles = the 12 signs of the Zodiac.

The modern translated bible written in English needs to be completely rewritten from this new Astrological perspective / angle so that it makes sense for modern society to understand it from the perspective of the ancient people.

Over the course of thousands of years language and what words mean change significantly as do the languages themselves.

Reading the ancient stories of the Bible from an astrological point of view would be very interesting and would make much more sense.

Why are people so easily brain washed into believing the words in the Bible come from an all superior being?

The human brain has a religious center. In some people this religious center is very strong. In some instances brain damage or brain defects can cause people to believe that they are seeing visions of super natural people. It seems to happen all the time.

In order to function well in a group of people, people need to believe in something common, whatever it is. The religious center of the brain seems to have developed to keep people working harmoniously together. In order to belong to the group the people had to believe to a common set of beliefs.

So the concept of church was invented to bring people together socially.

In the ancient days the stories of the Bible would have been both historical stories both orally handed down from generation to generation and then mixed with the astrology stories to explain the heavens and what people were seeing in the heavens.

The wording and meaning from ancient times to modern times has changed significantly though and so the original meaning has been lost and now means something completely else. Funny how that happens.

The Bible and the stories in the Bible now make infinitely more sense. Now the Biblical stories are not only ancient stories from the beginning of civilization (most probably Egypt, but maybe even further back) but they are stories explaining the astrological heavens. And because the astrological heavens are in constant change, the original meaning of the story is lost as time moves forward.

And today people rarely observe the night skies and so the Biblical Astrological stories would make even less sense. To compensate for this people then start making up their own meanings for the stories based on their own modern day references and knowledge.

What about using religion to create wars.

Religion is just a convenient tool for those in power to wield religion in their own way for their own personal gains. Religion is used for power and control over people, because people have a religious center of the brain that makes them very susceptible to group control and manipulation.

Some people REALLY need to believe in something for their own self worth. Religion and religious icons provide this.

A requirement for survival in both ancient and modern times is that many people need to be part of a specific group in order to satisfy their need to belong to something. The religious part of the brain allows this social function to happen and why it has develop in humans.

The more religious you were, the more likely you wee to be part of a group that believed in the same things and so you lived younger to have children that in turn survived. And remember that old age today is very different from old age in ancient times. Old age today is 80 to 100 years. In ancient times old age was 25 to 35 years old.

And that the basis of Christianity is really the same as Buddhism, Krishna, Judaism, the Koran, and 18 other religions was also very surprising and made me laugh.

Christianity plagiarized all the other old religions!

Well I guess if you have a good idea just go with it. I could see this easily happening in ancient times though when the world was not connected by the internet for instantaneous communication around the world.

Once groups are separated from each other the core religion that originally came with the group slowly changes based on the religious leaders who are preaching it.

And as groups changed location the original symbols lost their meaning and so new ones were adapted. The occasional disaster and plague wiping out most of the human community would also have left its stamp. Remember the average life span is only 24 to 35 and so these ancient people are relatively young people who are easily impressionable and can modify elements of the story to meet a socioeconomic or sociocultural need.

One need look no further than Christianity and the adoption of December 25 as the day Jesus was born. The birth of Jesus has nothing to do with December 25. December 25 is the birthday of the Roman god Mithra. It was introduced into Christianity to bring the pagan followers of Mithra into Christianity. Mithra is the God of the sun and December 25 used to be the day of the Winter Solstice in ancient times.

I learned that little tidbit of information just before Christmas 2010.

So it is very interesting that our modern day religions in the 21st century are not based on real people at all, but rather on religious concepts and religious stories that originated back at the beginning of human civilization and have been passed forward in time with each generation. And with each generation the religion changes does a little bit, just like evolution.

At the end of this very excellent documentary I was surprised at the final closing narrative of Peter Jenkins and his belief in an all powerful God.

It took me off guard because I was not expecting it.

Since the age of 15 years old I have been carefully observing the world around me and how religion fits into the picture and that of God.

I too have come to the opinion that I feel a higher force at work in the bigger scheme of things.

When I was in Grade 10 in high school, I became quite upset with the Law of Thermodynamics. The Law of Thermodynamics states that all matter will move from an organized state to a disorganized state.

Common sense dictates that on the bigger scale of things this observation is completely wrong. Yet at the smaller level it is right.

    Let me explain.

A new law of the universe needs to be created and I am going to do it right here.

The Law of Universe – Created by Arnold Vinette on May 2, 2011.

The Law of the Universe – Disorganized free energy will gradually move to states of more and more complexity until self awareness and consciousness is finally achieved so that the energy / universe can understand itself. And this organization of matter into more and more complex objects continues as well with non-sentient life (like computers for instance). The process never stops.

    1. Disorganized random energy is transformed into the simplest of atoms hydrogen.

    2. Hydrogen atoms gather together until they make hydrogen clouds.

    3. Hydrogen clouds condense under gravity to form stars.

    4. Stars go through a life cycle that produces the rest of the elements of the periodic table.

    5. These new atoms now ejected into space form new solar systems with planets.

    6. The solar systems then group in local clusters, galaxies and universes.

    7. The planets then develop simple forms of life.

    8. These simple forms of life then gradually become more and more complex until they are self aware creatures.

    9. These self aware creatures then slowly become aware of the universe around them.

    10. Humans are the energy of the universe that has been transformed at each step becoming more complex atoms, then molecules, and now self aware beings.

The Law of the Universe – Disorganized free energy will gradually move to states of more and more complexity until self awareness and consciousness is finally achieved so that the energy of the universe can understand itself. And this organization of matter into more and more complex objects continues as well with non-sentient life (like computers for instance). The process never stops.

If you can read the above statement then that statement is true.

The above statement can only be proved false if you can prove that you do not exist on a planet in a solar system, powered by a sun that is part of a much larger galaxy and universe. Everything you can see around you has been created by free disorganized energy that moves to ever increasingly more complex states at each stage of its life cycle.

This is the Law of the Universe.
