The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism

Only a crisis, actual or perceived, produces real change.

The Shock Doctrine is an investigation of “disaster capitalism”, based on Naomi Klein’s 2007 book The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism. The idea is that neo-liberal capitalism feeds on natural disasters, war and terror to establish its dominance.

  1. Whenever I feel a twinge of fear, just to inure myself to fear; I tell myself that I’m really in a completely sensory deprived state in an isolation cell and the horror of what I think I’m experiencing in this world is vastly preferable to isolation in a sensory deprivation cell.

The reality is: that’s true – not just for me, but for God – and that is the truth of eternity.

That is what I talked about in my video: The Greatest Illusion.

Being able to face that is the death of fear.
